I have a sculpture in which sound is sent through 100 feet of pool
hose, named after the "Abyss Zone" of the ocean's depths. Very
appropriate! The hose can make just about any noise sound eerie and
wet. "Dripping with reverb" one might say. Especially nice efffects
when the hose rubs against itself.

William's right, it ain't the cheapest, but it's a standard for which
a large number of useful fittings are readily available.

Fantasizing 1000 feet of pool hose,
Jason
