A new Free-Choice Learning online course designed for informal science professionals launches this month. Developing Effective Evaluations, offered by Professional and Noncredit Education at Oregon State University, provides a hands-on approach to effectively assess learning and behavior within free-choice learning contexts.
Evaluation expert Marianna Adams has designed a curriculum that guides professionals in conducting their own evaluation while becoming informed research consumers. The design and implementation of an evaluation is used as a lens for understanding the how and why of assessment and evaluation.
