ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
The American Alliance of Museums is working to organize a briefing for Congressional staff - tentatively scheduled for June 17 - on the subject of how museums are addressing health care issues, defined broadly. As part of this effort, we are compiling a list of how museums have developed community partnerships to address health-related issues around the country. This might include museums working with medical schools, serving children on the autism spectrum, working with persons with memory loss, holding health fairs or immunization clinics, etc. Do you have examples to share with us on this topic? If so, please email me a few sentences about each project (or websites where I can find info) to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. I will keep you posted as these plans develop and look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you,
Auntaneshia
