ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Surely THIS is what the science centre community should be focusing on? We
need to balance and complement formal educational agendas, not be driven and
limited by them.
In his acceptance speech for AAM Distinguished Service Award back in 1982,
Frank Oppenheimer warned of an 'exploration crisis'.
"For the most part, both children and adults have few opportunities for
exploration: the whole tradition of exploration is being lost for entire
generations."
It's part of the same problem, isn't it?
