weak colonies combine on own for real survival if they want
I have never heard this before in my life. Has anyone ever seen this take place,
ther than you?
A couple of years ago I hived a swarm (that came from the station chimney) on my allotment next to another colony I knew to be queenless. Next time I looked, the hive with the swarm was empty and the queenless lot was much stronger and had a laying queen.
