I had 2 interesting things happen. A swarm on the side of a hive that would
fit into a teacup, with what appeared to be a virgin queen. It was so small,
I found her right at the site. She's in my OB hive now. Also, a beekeeper
sitting and observing my colony at home observed a heavy looking bee come
buzzing in for a landing. Then he realized that it was 2 bees. As they
separated, it became evident that one bee was riding piggy-back on the
other. The passenger bee alighted and
walked into the hive. The "taxi" took off again. No alcohol involved.
