Peter said "What is discouraging is that it was approved for temporary use until something better could be approved. But now something better -- formic strips, has been put on hold because the govt. says we already have enough choices, which include Checkmite."

I have been highly critical of Mann Lake, Dadants and ABF for not being straight about Checkmite and its now well documented affect on wax contamination, reproductive health and synergistic affects. The continued sale and use of this material may be just as damaging directly or indirectly to honeybees as CCD.

Now their silence and hypocrisy is hurting the Industry even further by interfering with the registration of a better alternative.

Where is the leadership in this Industry and what are they doing with their resources?
