Allen:
In response to this question, I have been "lurking" off this list for 5 years so no clue what was being posted. However, I was a previous subscriber to BEE-L between 1994 and 2005.
I resubscribed 4 days ago to post a message on locating beekeeping class resources. I received and appreciated a number of helpful responses. Nice to read postings from new BEE-Lers and veterans; sad to no longer read postings from a few beekeepers - Aaron Morris, Andy Nachbar and Nick Wallingford. Important to keep the archives alive to preserve their wisdom.
Speaking of archives, it was interesting that I could search for my name in the archives and reread the 271 messages that I posted from my 11 years on this list. I have been immortalized!
A question to myself: Do I know any more about bees now than I did back in the 70s and 80s…..?
i'll let you know when i finish reading my old postings…:)
Happy New Year!
