I would agree with all you quoted, but there are good studies that confirm
Thymol is an effective agent to bee health. Add Allen's post as another
confirmation of the prophylactic properties of Thymol, this time against
AFB.
Thymol is used in many different appliactions for just that, so there is no
reason to doubt that it would work in a hive. Check the studies on Thymol
and its use as an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent. We are not
discovering anything new. Lots of good science.
However, to repeat, it does not cure, it is only a preventative. If it is
touted as a cure, then everything in your post is applicable.
