This is certainly the scary part about GMO's--that once loose, they can self
replicate. No putting the cat back into the bag!
A few years ago, a firm wanted to test a GMO rice in Calif in orderr to
produce a pharmaceutical. In order to prevent contamination of the vast
Central Calif rice crop, they created rice paddies in dry Southern Calif,
600 miles away from any other rice.
