Have a question for you knowledgeable folks out there. I have a Jenter kit and I'm wondering if any of you know if the cell plugs from the kit will fit in the cup of the Pin Cell Cups sold by the Walter T Kelley company. I'm frugal and am thinking that the Pin Cell Cups are a lot cheaper than the Yellow Cupholders that hold the cell plug/queen cell start cups that augment the Jenter Kit system. I guess if nothing else, I can drill receptacle holes in dowel plugs and put the cell plugs from the Jenter kit in those.

By the way, I used the Jenter Kit for the first time last summer. Instead of waiting for the eggs to hatch and transferring them, the young larvae, to the cell builder colony, I moved the cell plugs from the kit to the cell plug/queen cell start cups in the cell builder colony twenty-four hours after I had introduced the queen to the kit confines. I.E., I moved the eggs less than twenty-four hours old instead of moving the day old larvae. Everything seemed to work fine that way. Of course, I kept everything warm and humid with a warm wet towel over everything except during the actual transfer of the cups.
