People have to use chemical weed controls responsibly. There are resistant
biotypes to probably every herbicide mode of action, not just Glyphosate.
Until it is realized that you cannot use the same mode of action year after
year we are going to increasingly see resistant species. I have seen at
least one case of Kochia becoming resistant to two different modes of action
simultaneously.
We have seen mites become resistant to controls for the same reasons. We
have to rotate our controls. Or better yet use two different modes of
action together.
