Good question Denise! I asked the same question to our state extension
apiculturist, Dr. Eric Mussen, some years ago. He said that the trees would
produce only about a 15% crop.
However, the exact percentage is really immaterial, since even a relatively
small reduction would simply make growing almonds economically inviable at
current nutmeat prices.
