Might be too hard. My formula that works great...

1 cup invert syrup (Kelley)
2 lb bag of 10x sugar

Heat syrup in microwave. Get it hot.
Pour bag of sugar into mixer
Add hot syrup
Use bread hook to mix
Knead any remaining sugar into the "dough".
Fill cages when candy is still warm.
