participant yourself in any of the following programs at least 5 years
ago (before 2005)?:

Scouting, providing resources to leaders and older girls that help
them support younger girls earning science Try-It and badges.

grade, with Discovery Days or other events offered at local museum,
nature center, or university

If the answer is yes, we need your help recruiting young women, 18
years of age or older, to participate in a study that will contribute
to greater understanding of informal Girls in Science programs.

If you were a participant in any of the above programs and fit the
aforementioned criteria, please follow this link to the questionnaire:

http://vovici.com/wsb.dll/s/6ea8g34dd7 Also, if you know of any other
young women who participated in any of these programs at least 5 years
ago and are 18 years old or older, please forward this to them too!

As a thank you for completing the questionnaire, you will receive a
$15 gift card!

Participation in this survey and subsequent parts of the study is
voluntary and free. At the end of the questionnaire, you will be able
to decide whether you would be willing to participate in additional
parts of the study but you are under no obligation to do so. Later
phases will include face-to-face interviews and facilitated discussion
groups.

If you are interested in more information, please email
[log in to unmask] Your information will be kept secure
and confidential. You need not have stayed in your respective program
nor even enjoyed it to be a part of the study. It is important for us
to hear all perspectives, so please know that we want to talk with you
no matter what your views about the program you participated in!
