Attention ASTC members! 

ASTC received several requests to extend the Leading Edge Award deadline. We
are happy to receive nominations up to 5pm, Wednesday, March 29. 

There is still time to:

--honor a staff member for his or her exemplary accomplishment in the past
three years. 

--get recognized for your science center's recent accomplishment in business
practice or visitor experience.


Nominate a staffer, co-worker, trailblazer:  
Leading Edge for Leadership in the Field (1 award for experienced
leadership; 1 award for new leadership)

Nominate a bottomline-changing program, project, practice:
Leading Edge for Business Practice (2 awards: small institution and large
institution)

Nominate a successful and innovative exhibition, education program, visitor
service: 
Leading Edge for Visitor Experience (2 awards: small institution and large
institution)

Each award will consist of a glass "Edgie" presented during the annual
banquet, plus a paid registration to the 2007 ASTC Annual Conference in Los
Angeles, California. Awardees will receive recognition in ASTC Dimensions,
on the ASTC web site, and in a widely distributed press release.
