Hello Histarchers:
Please forgive this non-archaeological message - but it does have to do with going to an anthropology conference, at least!
I have a colleague (who is now a graduate student and was one of our first field school students here in Houston) who has just learned that he will be able to attend AAA in NOLA. His name is Mosheh Adamu, and I can vouch for him in every respect. He is seeking a male roommate for all or part of the conference period.
If anyone is looking for an amiable, non-smoking, honest, polite, and all-around great guy to room with, please let me off-list and I'll put you in touch with him. He is now serving in the Coast Guard in NYC and could really use this help to make his participation possible. He won't have a car, so anywhere within walking distance of one of the conference hotels would be great.
Thanks,
Carol
