All,
The previous VCU Anthropology position description failed to include a closing date. Here is the revised:
The School of World Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University invites applications for a full-time Instructor (non-tenure-track) in Anthropology to begin August 2015. The successful applicant will teach courses across the four fields in Anthropology and must be able to teach a four-field introductory course, an introductory course in linguistic anthropology, and an upper level anthropology theory course. Qualified candidates will have a M.A or Ph.D. in Anthropology and an established record of teaching lower and upper level courses in Anthropology. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU is required. Applicants must apply online at www.vcujobs.com. The closing date is January 12, 2015. Virginia Commonwealth University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. Women, minorities and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
