Fellow Histarchers,
With submissions now open for the 2015 Seattle SHA conference, I'm looking to see whether anyone might be interested in a paper on "Historical Archaeology in the Persian Gulf" for any potential session they might be developing.
There's only so much you can say in 15 minutes, and I'll likely focus on an overview of relevant sites and material culture; but it shouldn't be too difficult to tweak it towards a specific session theme.
If you want more detail about the types of site I'd be addressing, please feel free to write to me at: [log in to unmask]
You can also reach me via the e-mail address that Histarch claims this was sent from, but the hush.com address would work best.
With thanks,
Alasdair Brooks

PS: and yes, I will definitely be in Seattle; there's a daily direct flight from Dubai.
