As a former Mesoamericanist, I suggest
The Basin of Mexico, Ecological Processes in the Evolution of a Civilization, by William Sanders et al.I noticed that it is no longer in print from Academic Press, and sells for high prices on Amazon.com, so there must still be demand for it.http://www.amazon.com/Basin-Mexico-Ecological-Civilization-archaeology/dp/012618450XThe boxed set of large-format maps that accompanied the book can probably be offered on CD these days, making the overall cost a lot lower.Meli Diamanti

We reprint and make available again titles that their original publishers have abandoned and decided to not keep in print. If you are the author of such a title or the reader or adopter of one, we'd like to hear your suggestions.

Many thanks.

Frances
