A few years back, here in Iowa, We had an enhancement project in which a trail route was relocated to avoid impacting a live stock burial area near an Amish community.  The cemetery / resting place is considered a TCP for the Amish Community.  (Every year a prayer is said over the grounds, blessing it.)
