Ruary
I do not have a direct answer to your question, but bees drink in pools, I
have feed bees from 500 to 20000 ppm bleach in syrup, and I have sprayed 10%
bleach directly on to bees. On all those scenarios I hardly see any bees
dead. When 10% bleach directly on to bees they changed the queen, but
probably that was cause of the smell.
I do not recomend to talk about Clorox, a.- because that is a brand and not
an active principle, b.- because household bleach (ie clorox) have some sort
of unpalatable ingredient that make bees consumption slower.
I use "chemical" grade bleach (NaOCl) not household grade (if that exists).
