Our temperature the other night was -46 deg F. An unusual event occurred
about 2 am : My truck, which was parked outside decided to blow its own
horn. I put on my parka and snow boot, disconnected the battery and all was
quiet.
Apparently, in VERY cold weather the plastic and foam which covers the horn
mechanism shrinks so far that it pulls the horn button into contact with the
horn ring.
Best regards
Donald Aitken
