I am wondering about the relation betwen weather and polen/nectar
production/secretion by the plants.
Not only current weather needs to be considered but also past rainfall. If
there is little moisture in the upper layer of soil, shallow-rooted plants
may have difficulty in producing optimum volumes of nectar but deep rooted
plants and trees may do better.
