Why? Before you assume and extrapolate, why don't you let the man speak for
himself? Call him, write him, do some investigation, so that we can all
learn, rather than having to sort through a bunch of speculation.
I asked Dan personally. Dan's partner (who I also know well) is involved in
the legal effort to to ensure that all bee imports into the U.S. go through
strict inspection and quarantine to avoid the introduction of new or
different pathogens. Wouldn't make sense for their business to be
financially working at odds!
My point is--why put a few of us into the position of being fact
checkers--it eats up my time!
This is supposed to be an informed list. If you haven't taken the time to
do the research to back up your assertations, then don't just post
speculation disguised as fact. Brian, I'm not trying to pick on you
personally, since you know that I hold you in high esteem--you just happened
to get caught up in the sweep.
I don't like being in the position of being a scold, but I feel that from
time to time it may be necessary.
