What are you doing to prevent theft?

First, I've bought a lot of used equipment.  Some of it is so used my beekeeping buddies tell me they wouldn't haul it home for firewood.

Second, I've painted mine with mistint paint.  I have pink, blue, mustard, green, etc.  Any self-respecting thief would have to repaint them...probably too much work.

Third, I've got some nasty, aggressive bees that are outstanding honey producers.  Any thief who would steal them wouldn't be able to get near them.

I also have a fairly unique method of nailing my brood boxes (the newer ones I've purchased), but I'd be hard-pressed to prove (beyond any shadow of a doubt) that they were my hives.

Still, I'd know they were mine.
