I'm getting stung by bees... in the garden
Bees shouldn't be stinging you in the garden, unless you accidentally hit
one - foraging bees are usually very docile.
Assuming you're not in an AHB part of the country, I'd not recommend using
a bee repellant - unless you want to repel everyone, and some of the bee
repellants are not things you'd want on your skin.
I'd check what other chemicals you are using on yourself - herbal shampoo?
sun block? anything scented?
My fair-skinned research partner has found out that several of the scented
sun blocks seem to attract and/or irritate bees.
