Correct on this. I spent time with the manufacturer this week. They have
shut down the line, and sold the last pallet of MAII pads.
The MiteAway Quick Strips (MAQS) are ready to roll as soon as the EPA gives
the go ahead. The current glitch is that there is an inert chemical on the
paper that did not have existing EPA clearance (is cleared by FDA, and is
used on candy bar wrappers). Currently waiting for public comment period to
end.
As for the MAQS, I have just started a trial of them in California, as they
have not previously been tested in our climate. So far (3 days) so good.
