Geometry Playground, a traveling exhibition by the Exploratorium that's now
at Science Museum of Minnesota, specifically mentioned girls and women as
target audiences in the grant.  To that end, we made a number of decisions
about encouraging "girl-friendly" experiences.  We did our best to provide
for a range of social and physical experiences that could accommodate girls
and boys, made color choices that would be as attractive as possible to both
girls and boys, and seized opportunities to encourage girls' participation
in exhibit and exhibition design, as they arose.

I am part of a team currently working on the early development of a
"girl-friendly" exhibit project and we're wondering if there are any
existing exhibits out there that we can learn from.  Our exhibit will be
focused on engineering, but we'd like to hear about exhibits on any
topic targeted at girls.  We've found lots of interesting programming to
look at, but not much in the exhibit world.  If you know of any
girl-focused exhibits, I'd love to hear from you.  Feel free to contact
