Hi Beryl,

Your question related to education materials but I recall a situation when we had hired a consultant to develop text on the history of baseball and the newspaper asked if it could be used as an insert in a special anniversary issue. Because they published it in the newspaper before we published our catalogue, the newspaper owned the copyright. Had we known that ahead of time we wouldn't have given permission to the newspaper to run the copy.
