Having good lighting helps a lot. Bees cannot see in red light, even
very bright red light.
Christmas tree lights are a possibility, as are red bulbs sold in
stores. I've spray-painted a normal light bulb, too.
Red cellophane over a flash-light works, too as do car tail-lights.
I hadn't read this before I replied to the same question. I see we have
very different ideas on how to install packages. How and when are you
suggesting the queen be released?
