>Hello AllI fear that the Death Knell sounds for the Western
Honeybeeirrespective of where it is found.
Hi Tom,
Not hearing the Death Knell here is northern Calif! Can't hardly keep the
bees in the boxes.
Despite varroa, Nosema ceranae, viruses, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides,
and pollution drifting over from China, the weather has been good for forage
and adequate for enough bee flight to keep the bees well nourished.
Well nourished bees thrive, despite other adversities.
I'd like to see a great diminishing of the pesticide insult to our
environment, but the situation for bees may not be as dire as you suggest.
