I have made thousands of observations on the drone trap frames in my hives,
in which the bees are able to build comb in a foundationless trap frame
placed in the second brood chamber. Queen cells are occasionally built in
the drone frames, but are more often found hanging from the bottom edges of
other combs.
I concur with the author as far as his other observations.
