Monitoring mites using a meaningful way is not a complicated thing. I
needed to answer the question without using feeling. By the way Alberta
beekeepers who are monitoring don't own calculators. They count mites on
their fingers.
On a serious note, I would love to see beekeepers monitor using a system
that can help them to treat on time to save bees. I also like to see
monitoring is done before and after treatment. In our climate we like to
be accurate because we don't see our bees for 4-5 months during winter.
Therefore, the risk is too high when we make a mistake. Medhat
