I have some questions about the oil used on the baling twine itself and
also admonish your regarding its use if trying for a prize-winning honey
frame at the fair or for some extracted honey. It's not nearly as bad
as the cotton fibers but still can be rather sooty and can later can end
up in the honey. Weathered scraps are a good starter though.
