Hey everyone,
I'd like to do a session on creating programs which will then go to multiple
other museums but need panelists. Is there anyone out there who has done
this or atleast attempted to? I'd like some horror stories as well as what
went right. Give me a call or e-mail me ASAP! Sorry for the late notice!

Cutting The Apron Strings ? Sending Your Program Out Into The World
Do you dream of, or already have, a program that could make it in museums
across the country? Explore the process of making a program and then giving,
or even selling, it to other institutions. This is your how-to guide.
The process of creating a program on a very large scale is quite daunting.
So why do it? For one, funding abounds for such ambitious programming.
Companies and Universities want to get their message out to a natioanl
audience. It also offers opportunities for far reaching education, more
interconnections between museums and name recognition for museums who create
the programs.
