i have an organic farmer who uses my cropland 20 acres for free if he plants the other 5 acres of tillable with buckwheat or in this case the borage in lieu of rent.  Since borage will reseed itself I may have to start charging the guy rent. 

I did find a source of seed for $2.75 /lb  Northern Nutraceuticals Inc. Spalding, Saskatchewan CANADA and they had positive reports from beekeepers in that region about borage as a fall nectar source.
