In searching the database of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease
Registry (ATSDR) the 2002 paper which documents DDT at length (497 pgs
total) clearly states that DDT is no longer used in the US. It also
explains in detail why there are current limits set for PPM in food and
water.

http://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/toxprofiles/tp35.pdf
pg 15 for very quick overview

The last DDT manufacturing plant in the US was dismantled in 1983 and sold
to Indonesia.

When I checked the Section 18 Emergency Exemptions database, there were no
applications for DDT for MO.
