Dear friends

The whole natural vs artificial dichotomy is an endless loop. However, having been in that loop for 60 years, I can say confidently that a fresh apple is more natural than a plastic jug of soda pop. There is no point in trying to draw a line in the sand, it's a continuum in any case. Some things feel more natural and some feel more artificial. Letting natural selection act on bees can't help but be a good thing for the surviving bees. Not feeding a starving hive may more natural, as well, but I would feel like a skinflint if I was unwilling to kick in $10 to save a hive of bees.
