Allen, I'm sorry that anything I've said has misled you to think that I have
the above belief!
The scientific method by definition is not about identifying all
possibilities--it is simply a method for rigorously testing hypotheses. For
example, that the presence of a certain chemical at a certain concentration,
under certain conditions will cause a reduction in brood rearing. No
scientific paper will ever suggest that it covers all possibilities.
