Try the Glazunov violinconcerto - it has a warm sound like the Tjajkovskij,
and is in my opinion on of the better violinconcertos over all.
Try more Tjajkovskij! He is always great! The first symphony
"Winterdreams" (and what a wonderful title on a symphony!!) is not as
tragic moody as the 6. but it is very charming, although the sonata form
maybe didn't fit Tjajkovskij so well.
I see you like Brahms; Why not try mister Zemlinsky(who is hot on the list
right now)'s symphonies
For archromantic: Have you tried any Wagner?
