Dear ASTCers,
I received an odd e-email outside of the ASTC-ISEN listserv about a Table Top Dental exhibit and I'm wondering if anyone else did, or was I a lucky prize winner?
Here's how the message begins:
"I would like present to you a newly developed dental education model now available to museums. It is a 38" x 33" x 12" tabletop model the lower mandible that shows various aspects of dental anatomy and dentistry approaches- for example it shows in cross section the baby teeth with the adult teeth growing in beneath, wisdom tooth, impacted wisdom tooth, crown, a removable dental implant to show the post that is screwed into the jaw, braces, one of the teeth is in cross section showing how a tooth is attacked by decay and a filling. It comes with a 36" long toothbrush and a large floss dispenser to allow for demonstration of dental hygiene.
This is a unique teaching tool that covers more dental concepts than any other model of it's size on the market. This educational exhibit with toothbrush and floss container is priced at $X,XXX.xx".
