I had a friend which used creosote on his pallets for 2000 hives. He had
trouble from the first season.
After his death his son went to new four way pallets ( creosote not used)
and always felt the creosote caused problems but not to the point the hives
died as he was working with his dad throughout the period.
He said he tried to talk Dad into dropping the creosote but Dad ruled the
operation.
