I can generally tell in a group of visitors, who is most likely to get
stung, even before we enter the bee yard. Twitchy, fearful movements.
My older son cannot walk through a yard without getting stung. He
wouldn't dream of not wearing a veil, while working alongside me in no
gear. He would get 10 stings for every one that I got--must be the
way his skin smells or something.
Guys with curly dark hair or beards will also get more stings to the head.
