Subject: pH etc !
Hi Stan- Thanks for your nice post on pH and buffers. I used to be a chemist but my gosh how chemistry has changed since I graduated in 1949! A while ago I attended my 50th class reunion. Wow- there were a lot of old people there! I sat in the same chemistry lecture room and was shocked to see the periodic chart that I memorized with all of 92 elements. I couldn't count (or pronounce) some of those new ones. About all I can remember about buffers is that a "little bit" of buffer seems to go a "long way" in stabilizing the solute fraction pH of a solution. I guess it still does now. Bee Well, Dick
