I am putting together a symposium for the 2010 SHA conference at Amelia
Island, Florida, on Civil War archaeology in or along the Gulf of Mexico
and would be happy to hear (Off List) from individuals interested in
participating in such a session. I am very interested in developing a
session that addresses the conference theme: "Coastal Connections:
Integrating Terrestrial and Underwater Archaeology" (individual papers
need not address this theme in and of themselves) and am very interested
in papers that deal with the Civil War and the broad maritime setting of
the Gulf Coast.

If you are interested in contributing a paper, please respond to me
