ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************

Join in a 24-hour live worldwide forum on topics for, by and about current and future generations of women in engineering and technology. The 2010 theme is "Launching Tomorrow." The marathon will broadcast live internet chats, webcasts, teleconferences, and prerecorded sessions, available to anyone in the world. Museum connections include the kickoff webcast from Chicago's Adler Planetarium, with keynote speaker Sally Ride, the first American woman in space.

Watch an event recorded March 5 at the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, CA, at which Symantec employees worked with students on a hands-on science project. See regional event details from around the world here: http://www.eweek.org/EngineersWeek/GlobalMarathon.aspx?ContentID=60

This event is coordinated by The National Engineers Week Foundation as an extension of Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, held in February.
