Hello All!

I am working on a project for a doctoral class gathering info on ISE and Teachers; if you have the time, I invite and welcome your responses to the quick informal survey consisting of 7 guiding questions (below); If you are interested, I am more than happy to share the results with you.

THANKS in advance for any and all of your assistance and contributions,

Jill

1. What type of institution are you reporting for? (ie natural science museum, zoo, aquarium, nature center, national park, school district outdoor learning/ee center, etc)

2. What teacher professional development (PD) programs do you currently offer? (ie- IN museum pd, OUT of museum-LOCAL pd, OUT of museum- STATE pd, OUT of museum- NATIONAL/international pd, and/or DISTANCE/VIRTUAL pd)

3. Do you currently have any programs specifically for Pre-Service teachers? (ie partnerships with local University educator programs)

4. Do you currently have a Teacher Advisory Group for your institution? (ie an advisory committee/group made up of local educators serving your museum in some way- ie generating new exhibit ideas/content, education material content, pd programs, partnerships, etc)

5. If you do have a Teacher Advisory Group, how was it formed? And what purposes/functions does it serve your institution?

6. If you have a Teacher Advisory Group, what suggestions do you have for other institutions interested in forming and implementing a group such as this?

7. And finally, is your institution interested in expanding partnerships and involvement with local teachers? If so, in what ways and or areas are you most interested in expanding?
