Does anybody out there know of wildlife field guides that are available for
stand-alone computers?

 

I've found Thayer Birding Software - which covers birds, but I haven't found
other creatures yet.

And I have found some online resources such as enature's zipguide, but I'm
looking to use this for a non-internet connected website.

Surely, someone has put the field guide books out as a software database,
right?

 

If you know of anything, then please let me know.
