If you would you like a free astronomy exhibit - for either a short time or possibly even permanently then read on...
The National Science Foundation created two exhibits on LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory). These exhibits introduce what gravitational waves are and how we look for them using interferometers. For detail on the exhibits check out: http://ligo.phy.olemiss.edu/LIGOexhibit/
There is a 1000 square foot exhibit that requires 17' of height clearance (it has a 40' x 25' footprint).
There is also a smaller 200 square foot exhibit that requires about 8' of height (it has a 20' x 10' footprint).
Both are available without rental fees (museums would be required to pay for inbound shipping, provide proof of insurance, and provide set-up help).
If you're interested in having either exhibit at your site then please contact Marco Cavaglia <[log in to unmask]>
